Since her teenage years, unwittingly, serendipitously, Agnès has always organized or taken part in events. From family celebrations under her mother Charlotte’s guidance, to birthdays with friends, farewell parties for work colleagues, Christmas and New Year celebrations for the companies where she worked or her local church, Agnès has often been a member of organizing committees.

After moving to the United Kingdom in December 2003 Agnès found herself joining the PTA (Parents and Teachers Association) and organizing summer fairs, disco parties at her son’s school, Francophone Nights for her local church, seminars and conferences at the British Parliament, breakfasts and get togethers for international students and professionals as part of her recruitment and placement business. The world of events was a ubiquitous part of her life.

In the summer of 2019, a young couple at her local church asked her to organize their wedding, which she gladly accepted. She then found herself being thrust into the magical world of weddings, and even enrolled on an online wedding planner course to hone her skills during that time. With the mastery of a conductor, Agnès synchronized the appointments at the bridal shop for both bride and bridesmaids, suggesting layout ideas for the chosen reception venue in order to create a unique wedding, selecting the service providers and negotiating quotes and contracts, in addition to dealing efficaciously with the plethora of telephone calls and emails, in order to ensure the smooth running of a unique, unforgettable and emotional moment for the bride and groom with their loved ones, in line with their desires.
And so was Samella Events created.
